Shoegaze
Skipping Red is a four piece alternative band. Driven by nostalgic sounds and intense life experiences, they have crafted a story in every song. Started in 2021 when Jade (guitar/vox) asked Christian (guitar) if he wanted to start a band. They continued to recruit members, finding Seabass (bass) and Carter (drums).
Beginning in an area that was sonically heavy and dark, they eventually worked to develop a more nostalgic and alternative sound. Over the next couple of years they worked together to write their debut album and play shows across the PDX area, even throwing our own music festival on the wing of an airplane!
