Jackson Ramone
Jackson Ramon brings his bold, hand-drawn style to this year’s 2025 design.
Jackson is a songwriter, illustrator, and all-around creative force who got into graphic design through music using it as a tool to keep everything in-house. A longtime illustrator, he’s been drawing since childhood, and his work spans from show posters to album art, always aiming to make graphics feel fun rather than clinical.
Originally from Bakersfield, Jackson values authenticity and tangible interactions, believing that a strong sense of community is key to success. He’s been a fixture at venues like @mississippistudios and @rontoms_pdx , and recently at @turnturnturnpdx where he takes pride in seeing people dance.
Musically, Jackson’s journey has evolved from rock to country, drawn to storytelling legends like Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson. His deep, rich voice and love for storytelling shine through in his music, influenced by both classic country and the rock legends he once aspired to be.
And then, there are the dinosaurs. “I always draw dinosaurs,” he says. From setlist scribbles to album art, they’ve been a constant in his work—now taking center stage in this year’s PDX Pop Now! visuals.
